Schedule (as of 8/9/2020):

To the people of the Northview faith community, greetings.

We wanted to let you know that, given the current threat of the Covid-19 (Corona) virus, we have been in conversation about how to proceed with our worship and activity schedule. In responding we are trying to strike a balance between caution and overreacting.

Our utmost concern is the safety and well being of our members and regular attenders, but that concern is also valid concerning our nation and the many people who could face detrimental illness due to age or health concerns. And while we do not want to give in to fear, we do want to be responsible in light of this potentially widespread pandemic.

So, while we are not actually closing, we are implementing measures to ensure we do our part in limiting the spread of the Covid-19 Virus, and while we are putting a plan in place, the Leadership Team will continue to monitor the situation and make adjustments as needed.

Our current plan includes an electronic element that we hope will allow us to gather virtually, in the absence of the ability to gather physically.

If, during our hiatus, anyone is interested in a book study, or virtual conversation of some sort, I’m happy to try to accommodate. We certainly don’t want anyone to feel isolated or alone, and will do what we can to try to make this time as bearable as possible.

Also, if you are in need of pastoral or deacon care, don’t hesitate to call Pastor Rob or your deacon. We will be monitoring our own individual health, and do our best to care for you at this time of uncertainty.
Please be vigilant in caring for yourselves at this time. We continue to be in prayer for our congregation, as well as the communities we live in, that this virus can be contained to a limited impact on those we know and love.
