Northview Church of the Brethren espouses the values and traditions of the Church of the Brethren and creates our own unique family environment within those traditions. Our regular events include…
Love Feast
A three-part worship service that includes foot/hand washing, a meal, and communion.
Backyard Campout
You can bring your tent or you can sleep at home. Either way there are plenty of games, community meals, and campfire time to be enjoyed.
Alternative Christmas Fair
This is an opportunity to support diverse charity organizations. Donations to these organizations can be used as gifts to others who appreciate the work of the charities. In addition you can purchase fair-trade items, handmade upcycled crafts, homemade soups and baked goods. The proceeds from these sales also support charity.
Camp Mack, Summer Workcamps, National Youth Conference
Our children and youth participate in three regular events:
- Children attend summer camp at Camp Mack.
- Youth take trips to attend work camps in the summer, and
- Youth attend the National Youth Conference in Colorado every four years.
But our richest traditions are spontaneous expressions of love.
These occur in the form of comforting hugs, sharing meals together, and even helping each other with home repairs.
